                                             Acupuncture is the stimulation of specific acupuncture points along the skin of the body using thin needles. It can be associated with the application of heat, pressure, or laser light to these same points.

                                 Acupuncture originated in China and has been practiced there for thousands of years. Although there are records of acupuncture used hundreds of years ago in Europe, was during the second half of the twentieth century began to spread rapidly in Western Europe, USA and Canada.
                               Acupuncture involves the insertion of very fine needles through the patient's skin at specific points of the body - the needles are inserted at different depths.
