                    Chinese Theory of Acupuncture:
The acupuncture treatment has been recommended by WHO and which has been researched under the guidance of NIH(National Institute of Health), Food and Drug Administration(FDA) had come into light with the increased awareness of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the past few decades across the globe. The classic textbooks on Acupuncture explain about 365 Acupuncture points on the body.

As explained above, the whole treatment is based on the Prana(Life energy) that is known as Qi(pronounced as Chi) that flows in our human body.
According to the Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM), this Qi  flows in our body in 12 designated channels called meridians. The energy is maximized in each type of meridian for 2 hours each, covering the 24 hour period of a day by completing one cycle after flowing through the 12 paired channels. Each channel is linked to and originated from one particular organ in the human body, which is also linked with a type of tissue and a sensory organ.  The twelve meridians are categorized into six Yin and six Yang channels. One Yin andone Yang channel are coupled together as one pair.
All of these channels are further composed of five elements each having a dominated component of one element.

             Kowmudis:

As highlighted earlier, the nature is the best protector and healer of one’s health and our duty is to give the body an opportunity to stay healthy.
An astonishing fact about the nature is that, though we humans believe that they do things by spending the time, they are unaware of the fact that it is the TIME of NATURE that is moving us ahead in our lives.
Therefore, we have to obey the nature’s laws by fitting ourselves into the daily clock, which is naturally linked to our body or into the yearly seasonal clock.

Example lifestyle instructions in following the nature’s clock are as follows:
» Having breakfast before 9AM in the morning in order to provide initial nutrition of the day.
» Having a good sleep between 9PM and 5AM thereby giving the body and opportunity to get prepared for the next day in a more refreshing way.
Note: Not following the above mentioned routines will lead to many health disorders such as diabetes, gastritis, etc in the long term.
Some of the responsibilities in following our duty are as follows:
» To avoid unnecessary medication.
» Not to have self-medication without supervision of a doctor.
» To sleep early and to wake up early.
» Not to overload our stomach with food quite often.
» Having a healthy and balanced, timely diet.
» Doing basic exercises like Yoga, Meditation, Running/Jogging, etc.

In the society, many people suffering from various conditions are visiting number of doctors by spending thousands of rupees, without a satisfactory result and improvement in their health conditions. One of the main reason is that the patients are having a very little knowledge of their body’s nature as well as functioning.
An individual’s average life expectancy is declining day by day with many people dying at an age of 50. The reasons pertaining to this dangerous situation could be various lifestyle factors such as improper diet, improper timings of food intake and usage of too many medicines with side effects, etc. Chronic disorders such as diabetes and B.P have become very common in the recent decades, with India being one of the leading countries in the number of diabetes patients.
